Calling Comme des Garçons a powerhouse would be an understatement.  Although items from the “Homme” , “Homme Plus” and “Shirt” divisions are the primary focus on this page , CdG has excelled and innovated with almost every variation of label since inception in 1973.  The subdivisions hosted, all share a design philosophy that often tastefully fuses incomparable cuts , esoteric material processing/construction and versatility.  Such an ethos has been undoubtedly spearheaded by masters of design such as Rei Kawakubo, Keiichi Tanaka and Junya Watanabe.  Truly a brand that has been ahead of time.  Looking into CdG ‘s vast past will enlighten the impact they have had and will forever have in fashion.
