Collection: FINAL HOME
A project where garments are thought of as architecture of the body. Kosuke Tsumura’s designing career is most renowned for garments that were created to aid in extreme conditions by reducing garments into its most primal functions of comfort and protection through survival driven pieces. Whilst it's easy to get consumed by the plethora of compartments and other conspicuous utilitarian aspects of the designs, the social impact that the design is driven by, must not be forgotten. The success and impact comes of no surprise when realising that Tsumara was once a team member at the Issey Miyake Studio. Nevertheless, Tsumara is a phenomenal creative, like Miyake, that also made a distinguished mark in the intertwined worlds of fashion and art.
