Collection: FICCE / YOSHIYUKI KONISHI

Yoshiyuki Konishi is renowned for extravagant knitwear, in a time where his work was very much a polar opposite to what was seen as the prominent style in Japan driven by the likes of Rei Kawakubo and Yohji Yamamoto.  His conspicuous motifs, references and unique processing of wools set him apart.  He often brought completely raw materials to craft to his desire.  Yet Konishi's charismatic style stretched into many aspects of the industry as through “Ficce” he also created many subtle yet effortless garments to balance the wild persona of  his collections.
